LOW GEAR CONSISTS OF 6 FRICTIONS AND STEELS. MANY GEAR RATIOS AVAILABLE, RANGING FROM 1.67 TO 2.75 LOW GEAR, 1.26 TO 1.96 SECOND GEAR, AND 1 TO 1 HIGH GEAR
Typical Gear ratios are 1.77:1 first gear, 1.31:1 second gear, and 1:1 third gear.
Engaging the Torque Converter in high gear eliminates slippage, to give you a
True 1:1 final ratio, for the fourth gear

Our VR4E carrier on the left is a 4-pinion carrier (rated at 2500 HP), compared to our previous 3-pinion
